Overworld was once a pristine and stable host system. That peace shattered when an anonymous breach injected a highly volatile mod deep into the core architecture. The architect of the attack was quickly purged from the network, but the payload had already detonated. The resulting bug tore a massive rift through the space and time continuum. The skies darkened with digital smog, and the pristine biomes below were plunged into a bleak, unpredictable gloom.

Just as the corruption threatened to consume the final chunks of the map, the heavy, smog-choked clouds violently parted. A massive, airborne galleon descended from the rift. Wrought from riveted iron, glowing copper coils, and pulsing neon circuitry, the ship anchored itself high in the sky above the fractured landscape. As it held its position, heavy mechanized hatches along its hull hissed open. Long metal arms articulated outward, locking into place before unfolding into massive, brass-trimmed propellers.

As the great fans began to spin, they did not just clear the smoke. They broadcasted a powerful, resonant frequency. Beautiful, sweeping melodies poured from the ship's mechanical arrays. The music washed over the corrupted forests, echoed deep into the jagged caverns, and pierced straight through the obsidian gates of the Nether. Today, that great ship is known simply as Cloudsong. While it hovers high above the world, its hull remains completely impenetrable, locked down by a master administrative override. Instead of arriving on the deck, new players materialize on the surface below, waking up inside a humble little shack next to a gently turning windmill. The lingering effects of the rift left behind terrifying anomalies and new bosses born from the original bug. However, the ship's frequencies have also materialized unique, powerful buffs for those brave enough to fight back.
